Junewren sent us a phone demo of "Paper Cathedral" at 2am with a note that just said "is this anything?" It was. The song was getting flattened by compression and a tinny speaker, so we put her in Studio A with a proper room and two ribbon mics. The take you are hearing is the second one, where her voice cracks on the bridge and she just keeps going. That is the whole reason this place exists.
